Who was the Black Knight performer you thought was surfing the best in Hawaii and why?

Me for sure! I’ve been ripping [laughs]. Nah, Brenno has been surfing so sick though. He’s been getting a few waves at Off The Wall, which have been so super sick. Stoked for him.

How’d you go with the chicks? Which Black Knight dude pulled the most?

I’ve got a girl over here mate, so I guess I’ve been going all right. I dunno about the other boys, but I guess if they were single then they woulda had a fair crack at anything.

Tell us about your best wipeout?

I took a couple of beatings for sure. A few guys faded me on an absolute smokers, but I guess you expect that in Hawaii. You have to take the good with the bad. There was one bloke who smoked me on a sick one though. I can’t wait if he turns up in Australia so I can return the favour.

What was the funniest thing that happened to you in Hawaii?

Getting caught in a flash flood on the way to the North Shore was pretty funny. I thought the car was going to get washed down the river. It was heavy at the time, but looking back now it was kinda funny.
